Replacing the bellows in the VW T4

THE PROJECT

Over the years, the bellows from the pop-up roof get holes, damage and, in the worst case, even mold. Then it's time for a swap! At the same time, we recommend replacing the seal and piping, as these become brittle over the years and can cause leaks. The tent fabric was available in a choice of gray or beige, as well as options with two or three windows or an Opensky roof.

THE VEHICLE

Before: VW T4 with Westfalia extension

Afterward: New bellows in the pop-up roof

  • Exchange of the original bellows for a pop-up roof with 3 windows and mosquito net (can be opened completely with a zipper)
    • Option OpenSky
  • Exchange of hood lock, complete seal and tent piping
We can exchange the bellows at any time
After two decades, a bellows no longer looks like it did on the first day. Then it's time to replace the pop-up roof, like here on the VW T4.
The darkening of the windows can be opened via a zipper. The mosquito protection can also be completely opened with a zipper!
