Noble quality instead of Sortimo in the Ford Tourneo S-Camper

THE PROJECT

Sometimes you wonder if outfitters of campers have ever been camping. The Ford Tourneo S-Camper is equipped with a Schnierle SL3 bench seat, which Sortimo equipped with so much plastic that there was no more storage space. The parts, some of which were riveted, had to be laboriously removed in order to make way for an elegant wooden seat cover with sufficient storage space. Sortimo also didn't consider that the light comes on automatically when you open the door... suboptimal. We not only retrofitted enough light, but also fitted the existing lights with switches.
